TeknoLust

Lebanon
Techno / Progressive / House

Two rising young talents are trying to make their way through the world’s mess, corruption, and violence to spread peaceful underground sounds in their society. Akram, a ‘Beattunes’ inspired dj, started with simple virtual djing at his home, introducing himself to trance and deep / dark progressive, developing his musical consciousness to reach high “techno” levels. As for Akram’s electronic clone, Loay, an intelligent self-taught producer, started his musical career with djing at cheap private parties in Saida. After involving himself with commerical stuff, he found himself in the tech house scene, which totally changed his musical mentality. Both inspired by artists like Plastikman, John Digweed, Moshic, Timo Maas, Steve Lawler, James Zabiela, Carl Cox, Claude VonStroke, Douglas Greed, Maceo Plex and many more, they launched a unique project called TeknoLust including a monthly podcast known as “More Deepness”, playing various genres, but mainly techno and tech house, hoping listeners would enjoy their beats.
